Tour de Presteigne 7-8 May 2011

We’ve always said that it felt like France cycling around the welsh borders – great food & drink and fantastic cycling.  We even have more Michelin starred restaurants per head of population than your average French town.
But what you may not realise is that we also have our very own “Tour”…only like most things in the Welsh borders, there is a small difference.  In this case, we have a peleton & plenty of supporters – but the bikes are electric, and in some cases unique …. just take a look at this one…. presteigne piano man …
The weekend in Presteigne is the world’s Premier Electric bike Rally – with lots of electric bikes to try out, music & general good fun.  What better way to get there than to cycle – our Elizabethan Country house Cycle Escape, will give you plenty of time to cycle to Presteigne and then join in the fun.

About Wheely Wonderful Cycling

I organise cycling & walking holidays from our farm on the Shropshire/ Herefordshire borders. I love anything to do with cycling - and this area is the perfect place to cycle - quiet lanes, fantastic scenery, lots of history & great food. My blog aims to keep you up to date with the best places to cycle & walk in the area, and all the wonderful things to see & do whilst you are exploring by bike or foot.
